John Davis

John Davis is the assistant news director at WGCU-FM and the local host of NPR's Morning Morning Edition in Southwest Florida. He's also the host and producer of a weekly radio talk show program highlighting the arts in Southwest Florida called "Gulf Coast Life Arts Edition." John has worked in public radio for 20 years including 14 years in Southwest Florida. His reporting has been featured on public radio stations throughout Florida and Pennsylvania, in national NPR newscasts, NPR's Weekend Edition and the Marketplace Morning Report. Some of John's favorite activities include playing cello, hanging with his dog, reading, napping, cooking, and watching sketch comedy.
